Kelly Bowlt Blacklock

Kelly Bowlt Blacklock graduated from The University of Edinburgh in 2005. After 18 months in small animal general practice, she completed a rotating internship at the RVC and a three-year European College of Veterinary Surgeons-approved residency program in small animal surgery at the University of Bristol. Kelly joined the AHT in 2011. Her interests include infection control, minimally invasive surgery, trauma management and reconstructive/oncological surgery. In addition to clinical work, she is undertaking a part-time PhD on the "Application of genomics to identify novel prognostic biomarkers for canine cancers" at the AHT's Kennel Club Cancer Centre.
